I've had the DVD home from netflix for weeks and finally had the time, uninterrupted, to do it! I LOVED it! I went really light on the weights because I was nervous about the high reps and wanting to be able to get through as many as possible. Many were right, some were too light but I'll know for next time and there will be a next time because I will be getting this one. In fact, without even trying any of her others so far (besides Get Ripped), I think I want all the Jari Love videos. It felt so powerful to do this workout. I liked the music too and really liked the way the segments were broken up with the voice over demonstration of the exercises with modifications and description of what muscles it works and other information. I also really like how they list how much weight everyone is using. I matched the modifier sometimes, other times I went lower but I did a lot of the more advanced modifications just with lower weight. Got through almost all the reps of every exercise except all the pushups, tricep pushups and that insanely difficult superman move. I ended up modifying that with one knee on the floor because I just couldn't balance well enough. I also had trouble getting through all the plie squats holding weights and then doing upright rows with the squats. Had to put the weights down for some of the pulsing and then pick them back up for the upright rows and full squats. Loved using the step for various exercises too, really made it harder. I didn't use risers for most but would use one set next time. It was an excellent workout in any case! Still working on my plan for tomorrow... definitely want to sleep in then I'm getting my hair colored at 1:30 and I'm STILL not sure what I'm doing about that. I'm thinking tomorrow is definitely cardio and probably only time for a quick one because if I don't get up early enough, I'll have to do it in the afternoon or evening. I'm thinking about doing the Kathy 's Peak Fat Burning. We have one more holiday party on Sunday and I'm getting together with my best friend Monday (which means scrapbooking which means M & Ms) so I need the tough cardio (though there were a few sets in RTTC that really got my heart rate up... and now I still haven't set up my HRM, soon though). If I work out on Sunday, it will either be or yoga or both... as I ease my way out of some tough workouts this week and into P90 next week...
