Guest guest
I can only speak from my prespective, and I'm far from an expert on weight training or nutrition. I think BFL principles are just good eating and exercise principles. In terms of eating, you eat protein and high fiber carbs 5 to 6x a day. That's the way we're really supposed to eat to keep our blood sugar level and to give us a good flow of energy throughout the day. In terms of exercise, you do weight training 3x a week, and do cardio 3x a week. YOu push yourself each time you do either. And, that's really what is recommmended to keep our bones strong, our muscles capable and our hearts in good shape. BFL, IMHO, just fits all that into a 12 week concentrated program. If someone isn't doing this stuff or doesn't know much about nutrition/exercise, it is like nutrition/exercise boot camp. You see visible results and that gives you the real boost. But, it really isn't just Body for 12 weeks, you can do this forever.,,you just don't think of it as a " program " you think of it as the way you live.
