Guest guest
One of are guys sees this Dr. he does pellets also the Dr. that started this has died. This Dr. was traind by him and it's not about old school Dr.'s it's about Dr.'s that are good at this. Here is a cut and past of a post about this. With a link to the office. If I could see this Dr. I would try pellets again. ====================================================== Hi, I will go where angels fear to tread. I have been receiving TRT via hormone pellets since 1991. Hormone pellets, 20 - 75 mg in my case, are inserted under the skin using a trocar in the doctors office and dissolve constantly 24/7 usually with no conversion of T to E2 as is the case with injections when the body senses too much T and tries to convert the T to E2 to correct the surge. The pellets last 4 months and cost about $450/visit. If you are on medicare, it pays for nearly most of it in Augusta but not so in the rest of the nation. Hollywood types used to fly in regularly for their new pellets until more pellet doctors became available in CA. Bob Hope was one suggested as a patient. Hormone pellets are only available from Compounding Pharmacies who have no big budget for advertising to doctors and enticing them to offer pellets to their patients. Most doctors do not even know about pellets. Pellets were mentioned by Dr. Eugene Shippen, who wrote " The Testosterone Syndrome " , $14.95 at and Noble. It is essential for those considering TRT. Dr. Sipi and Dr. Gambrell have both passed away since I began and now my doctor is Dr. Natrajan, Augusta, GA in the same office as Dr. Gambrell. http://members.aol.com/natrajan9/index.htm I know of 2 others also trained by Dr. Greenblatt who was a pioneer in humane hormone therapy since the 50's Dr. Lovell, Baton Rouge, LA Dr. Charlton R. , Laurel, MS I doubt either of these doctors would consider growth hormone but I might be surprised. I think they are OB/GYN doctors and Reproductive Endocrinoloogists who treat couples. Fertility was not a problem when I started at 60. Now at 76, I look much younger and just went to work at Lowe's as my wife's medical insurance costs went through the roof. ernestnolan skywalkerc2 <skywalkerc2@...> wrote: Anyone know of some good doctors for the treatment of hypogonadism in the Atlanta area? I am currently seeing an Endo in Marietta but I am not all that pleased with him. I would like a Doctor that is well versed in the treatment and not an " old school " type.
