Guest guest
caffiene can have negative affects on some people. this includes adrenal stimulation (and stress), adrenal fatigue, decreased insulin sensitivity and headaches, to name a few. so, take it with caution. green tea has a very low amount of caffiene, but tea also has flouride and so you just gotta decide how much of these things you want in YOUR body. -------------- Original message -------------- NT warns against caffeine yet tea has been used for 5,000 years and coffee for 1,000, certainly qualifying them as a traditional foods. Guest guest
I have been wondering if " traditional societies ,soaked ,or sprouted their coffee ? I think that is the step that is missing and causing so much acid problems to people. Guest guest
I seem to suddenly have a problem with caffeine. I have even cut back to 1/2 reg. 1/2 decaf. I wonder if I cut back to total decaf if this would help with some of the symptoms I have (numbness, zinging in my index finger). Right now it seems to make me jittery and I'm sure that can't help my nervous system. But I LOVE my coffee. Has anyone noticed a change in symptoms since cutting out caffeine? Guest guest
Patty, I am not personally affected by caffeine but I do know that my dad quit drinking anything with caffeine in it as it gave him terrible tremors in his legs more so at night. I think he said that leaving caffeine alone helped him, but not sure about that as he is the epitomy of the movie grumpy old men and doesn't really like to talk about CMT. Hope this helps,
