Hi Ginny,

I went to the site he has and it looks very interesting on what he is doing. I don't think he meant you no harm, he was just trying to help you. When you get emails you don't want or sites come through that you don't care for please just ignore them. I moderate as best I can. On here we have so many folks with different ailments and diseases that all information doesn't always pertain to just one individual and I thought his info would be helpful to the celiac members we do have on here.

This guy emailed me privately, I guess I am just naturally cynical. I’ve heard it all, and everyone is always trying to sell us “snake oil†to “cure us†of all our ills. I’ve tried so much stuff I just don’t want to hear anymore unless it’s from someone I seek out or I’m referred to…..

Anyway, is this yahoo legit or is he just a troll??

You have to read from the bottom up. My first clue was that his post was denied…….. But he must be a part of the group to have obtained my email…….

Thanks Helen, I don’t have celiac, that has been established a long time ago.  I have not been tested for hyperparathyroidism and I just have many of the symptoms so it’s something I want to ask my doctor next time I go back.  I went to a pain management doctor years ago who uses many holistic approaches to pain and FMS/CFS/Myofacial Pain and other ailments.  I do believe diet is part of it, but I do not have an issue with gluten, and that has been established already.  I do have a sensitivity to enriched wheat, but not to whole organic wheat or spelt.  Nor do I have an issue with oats, rice, corn or other grains.  Like I said, I have had SO MUCH of this and it makes me NOT want to be a part of groups.  If someone who has tried something recommends it, then I’m more open to it.  But when someone comes off as if they want to sell me something, or buy this book, or try this supplement, etc., etc., etc., it is a HUGE HUGE turn off to me because that is about all I’ve heard for 20 years.  If I can afford it, I’m going to try to go back to the doctor I went to 10 years go.  He’s the only one I’ve ever had that helped my condition.  We all have our limits, and I reached mine long ago.  I guess I’ll put a warning in my signature line!!!
