Guest guest
Hi Leena, I have a 6 year daughter and we give her 250mg with Breakfast and another 250 with dinner. She also takes her multivitamin with Breakfast she weights about 55 LBS. She does not take Vit E by itself. I do and I take Vit C as well for my Type 1A. The Vit E helps absorb the Vit C into the body. Good luck I hope it helps.
Guest guest
My son Spencer is finally taking his Vitamin C. I feel so much stronger when I take mine. I was having a crisis and forgot my V-C for a few nights. From the stress I was under I was feeling very weak. ( My CMT reacts to stress.) A few nights of vitamin C with the same stress level I began to feel much better. My crisis is being resolved slowly I am taking my vitamins regularly and I am regaining a lot of my strength back. I actually think I was having a nervous break down. I couldn't stop shaking and I was in major nerve pain. I am a believer in Vitamin C for my CMT. Oh and my husbands xanax didn't hurt, lol. Guest guest
Thanks Mathew, We have started a dosage of 500 mg of Vit C to Harsh with breakfast once in a day. As per your suggestion we are planning to give him Vit E, 50 mg in liquid form daily. Is it sufficient dosage for him? He is 5 & 1/2 years old and weighs 15 kgs. Should both these vitamins be given together at the same time? What type of ankle exercises for footdrop are you giving to your daughter? I couldn't find any pictures or figures of these exercises on net. Can you guide us in this regard? Since currently it is raining very heavily in India, so Harsh is not able to do swimming & cycling exercises regularly. So at present we have to concentrate more on indoor exercises. Regards, - Leena
Guest guest
Lenna, no problem. Not sure on the Vit E as I do not give that to my daughter. We don't do ankle exercises either although that would be a good idea. I take my E and C together as I figure it should help more that way. Thanks
