Guest guest
Hi ALL, Thought I'd chime in here too. I'll be teaching 2 more live Boundary and Ethics classes (if we get enough attendees) in Pendleton OR; Saturday June 9, 2012; for the OCA. Contact oregon_chiropractic_association to register. If you live in this area and don't want to travel, this is a great opportunity to have a live seminar where you can ask questions. I have another live seminar in the Portland metro area; on Sat October 13, 2012; sponsored by CHP. Please contact the CHP office to register. (For CHP members) The beauty of a live class is that you can ask very specific questions. I realize not everyone has the time to attend live however, so... I also have a rentable version you can get by calling my office . $65/doctor. After signing the attestation and submitting the rental fee, you will receive a CEU certificate. You must send that certificate to the OBCE. They must receive it no later than December 31, 2012. My perspective as a past OBCE member in creating this DVD is to show you: 1. What to expect from the licensing board if you have a complaint filed against you. 2. How to stay out of trouble. 3. What others did that got them in trouble. 4. How to manage your staff to keep your office free of complaints and you out of the headache of a complaint. 5. I present actual case studies from our board and other boards across the USA. I've had the honor to meet with state board presidents from around the USA to discuss this and other boundary issues. I've also had the honor to offer consultation to DC offices in Oregon, to set up exam procedures to avoid complaints. Some of the more sensitive exams we do have the potential to generate complaints. I'm specifically referring to an OBGYN practice, use of body cavity treatments, breast exams, pectoral or inguinal area treatment protocols. Minga Guerrero DC abowoman@...
