Good job on getting your workout in despite the interruptions, ! You might want to put your phone on cover though until your workout is done and reply to messages then? Just a thought!

I have to keep the phone with me (when I remember) so I can check caller ID in case my kids' school calls me for some reason. I don't normally pick up during workouts for other people unless I know it is an unusual or important call. Call me a paranoid mom but 2 years ago I got a call nearly every single week from my son. He'd felt ill, gotten hurt or whatever. It was an awful year but ever since then I've just kept a phone near me just in case (this year so far I've only gotten one call telling me my daughter was feeling ill and a couple of less urgent calls from teachers but I still gotta make myself available just in case). Thanks for the idea though!!!!

Hi !

The phone interruptions are a big reason why I like my

4:30/5:00 a.m. workouts - I know if the phone rings

then I had better answer it! I had to laugh about

your post b/c that very morning, I tried to do the 30

min Slim Series Express Cardio Core and in that 30

minutes I had at least three interruptions! So much

easier for me to do it when the rest of the world is

sleeping! :)

I thought about that... getting up extra early. Just can't handle it. I'm more of a night owl than a morning person so I like to stay up too late to get up that early. I've done it before and it has worked out okay but I'm not sure if I can do that all the time. My phone seemed to ring all day that day and then the next day, when I was gone from 8:45 until 1:30 there were no calls recorded on my caller ID!! DH and the kids are now home until after New Year's so I might get up extra early just to have time to myself for my workouts and breakfast without them around. We'll see though...

I'm a night owl and can't get up in the mornings to get a workout before everyone else is up to interrupt, so I tend to get my workouts in at 10pm just so I avoid these types of interruptions. That and I'm just so busy through the day that I can't find the time to squeeze it in any other time sometimes. LOL

Glad you got something in though, and enjoyed what you did!

Way to go me!! I wanted to do Ripped to the Core today (for the first time, I've had it for several weeks from netflix and haven't been able to do it yet).
