Guest guest
Well I was nervous for teaching a full half hour Amp'd Abs class, because usually I only sub the 15 minute one. I would up having enough material (whew!) and the part I was most nervous for, the warmup and standing cardio exercises, went well: Standing abwork, mostly from Ab Jam: Three rows starting right in a low horse stance, 4th one you "put away your Samurai sword" Next were capoeira wheels, right and left 4 cross punches right and left, zig-zag, right hip raise -flat and round back, repeat left Next exersise was from Tamilee Webb's I Want That Body: With a heavy handweight in the right hand, reach up and over to the right with the left hand, singles then 2 and 2 count First Floor section was from Ab Ripper 200 Second Floor section was Round 25's ab section Third floor section was an actual Amp'd Abs drill Fourth floor section was Pilates, including lower back exercises I ended with 2 one minute hovers and a quick stretch Next I took the first half hour of my friends class. I was happy to pass over the mic at that point! I hadn't had butterflies like that in a long time, and this is the Downtown stony faced crowd which makes subbing even more agonizing than it already is. So there's my hour for the day It was a nice way to break up the work day!
