I don't think they will find a cure but they may find a way to stop the

progression once they know a person has it.

I do hope they find a way to slow it or stop it. I am also glad my son doesn't

have it although he has his own problems with Autism. As for me, I've been

wheelchair bound for years because of this. Ugh.

Thank you so much for this positive post, came at a good time. I REALLY need to

change my attitude but it is just hard, as everyone here knows. I really admire

your attitude and your knowledge on the subject of CMT. How does one contribute

to reasearch funding, not that I have much money to give but I wish I could help

in some way. Where is Bill gates when you need him? Thanks again Gretchen for

all that you do.

I'm so sorry that you are so affected by this horrible disease. I work with kids

with Autism, they are wonderful little people.
