I have had signs of CMT all my life but have been going down hill the past few years. My left foot is so much more affected than my right. My mother had CMT and I seem to really be following in her footsteps(no pun intended lol). I am getting very depressed by this and worried about my future. I have 2 girls ages 9 and 13 and a wonderful new husband who I would love to have a baby with but I dont want my CMT to worsen. I am 38 in a few days and this was about the time my mother really stared to suffer from CMT. At 45 she had a bone marrow transplant for breast cancer and was given very high doses of chemo and I think that really made her alot worse.
