The owners of the platform (myicourse website) which hosts the class want to be able to assure our attendance at online courses by capturing images of you!

I am not making this up:

They want everyone to have to have a webcam on their computer (most already have them) and the course developer can program in random screenshots of you while viewing the class so you don’t leave and make an omelette while the class is running. (A patient told me that Omelette is an Ebonics word. As in, “I was going to kick your butt, but Omelette you go this time.)

So with screenshots of you during the class, we might say:

, what are you doing with your eyes closed at 10 minutes, 22 minutes, 36 minutes, etc.

Maybe would like to share what he’s looking at on his iPhone with the rest of the class.

My attitude is that you can’t legislate interest in being a good clinician or well apprised of your governing rules.

If the doctors don’t want to learn the stuff, they won’t.

On the other hand, if it’s interesting, more people will watch it.

I too started this on-line course. Thumbs up! I love how I can come and go from the computer. I really appreciate how make available experts in the related fields.

Hi Docs: I just downloaded 's class (having missed TWO on-site OCA classes due to " nice-weather-gardening-emergencies " . I am half way through it, but I had to stop and rave....I gotta say, this is a great and very thoughtful class! Very genuine input and not boring at all. : You da man!!! So folks, whatever class you choose, just make sure it is " locally-grown " . Be sure to utilize one of the classes from either our state trade association and/or one of our super-smart local docs/attorneys, etc.

I agree with Greg, and . What a great way to get good

information and fulfill CEU's. Being able to take a few minutes here

and there throughout the day to go over the multimedia material is a

fantastic idea. And what a deal, especially for those of us out in

the boonies. It would cost me more in gas just to drive to Portland

and back.
