Comments regarding the coming Coordinated Care Organizations which will take over the care of the “Oregon Health Plan” patients Medicaid (the poor) and Medicare patients (the elderly). However, if the system works the CCO model will be

applied to all state workers and all school districts! There are three issues we need to give input on here is the first:

Send an email as per: “Chiropractic physicians who wish to practice at the top of their licensure can act in the capacity of a primary care physician. Proposed OAR Section (2) subsection (a) must state that a CCO member-patient

can select a chiropractic physician as their primary care provider.”

The profession needs to all send something like this in immediately! If we want the new “Oregon Health Plan” to cover our services we need to step up and let our voices be heard!!!! Print this off to give to patients, friends, family

etc…have them send an email to; cheryl.peters@... today!!
