Guest guest
Hi Leena, The word " axonal " refers to what is happening INSIDE the nerves, when I saw that the word " spontaneous " was used, both of these together just suggested to me the possibility of CMT/Hereditary Motor Sensory Neuropathy Type 2. Please remember, I am not a doctor, nor do I have a scientific background, but my own most recent EMG/NCV tests used both these words, so this explanation is an 'personal experience guess' on my part. And from my test results, the testing doctor wrote in his report that " it is possible this patient has a neuronal (axonal) form of CMT. If I have questions about test results, from anything, I not only get copies from the doctor, but I ask questions about what the results mean. I don't leave the office until I'm satisfied. I'm sure if you ask Harsh's doctor to explain these tests, he/she would do so. Really good news to hear about Harsh's new bike and the swimming. Those two activities have been my most favorites ever since I was about 4 or 5, and still are. ~ Gretchen
