More information always helps in giving direction (your age, personal and family

medical history that

is pertinent). That being said, you say you consume a lot of salt, if your blood

pressure is high then the

chest pains could be heart related. I would get it checked out. However, you

state that the pains go away

when you have some food. The chest pains could be stomach ulcer or irritation,

insufficient acid production

or acid reflux into the esophagus. Try sleeping with your head of the bed

propped up. You may also try

supplementing with apple cider vinegar (the real stuff with " mother " on the

bottom) or HCL in tablet

for with meals.

Still, I would get it checked out to be sure.

Hey ,

Sorry for coming on to this so late I have been away. We had a gastro

enterologist tell us in a lecture that symptoms pretty closely matching what

you explained was often gastric reflux.

You could try an antacid. With chest pain however it is always best to see a

doctor to eliminate other more serious problems. Chest pains are not to be

taken lightly.

Subject: Chest pains at night

Recently ive started having chest pains upon waking up early in the

morning. Often I mistake the pains for immense hunger (yeah I know it

sounds crazy but that would be a proper descpription for it)- and

strangely, the pain subsides if i have something to eat, like a piece

of vegetable. Then I go back to sleep.

This usually occurs after my heavy lifting days (3x a week),

particularily after my low rep deadlift workout( working with sets of

4-5RM).

Another issue is that I'm using a lot of salt in my meals, so im

afraid it may be related to high blood pressure but that is probably

hogwash - right?

Help me out guys?
