Need info about melanoma of the eye (ocular melanoma)

A friend of mine was diagnosed with a “freckle on the back of her eye”.

Further checking found a small melanoma that they are going to map first.

I think they are going to treat it with “Proton Beam Radiotherapy”.

Anyone have experience I can share with her?
