Guest guest Posted December 15, 2011 Report Share Posted December 15, 2011 Hi All sorry I have been awol this past week, I have had a rough week, reallt bad pain and then angina attack. and today (friday) at 11am I have an appointment with an advisor at the job centre because they I'm fit for work. my doctor thinks they are bonkers, they never gave me a medical and they made the de scion without contacting my doctor or specialist, i was going to appeal but missed the deadline as i couldn't get through to the benefits office to lodge appeal/ unemployment is so high in uk no employer is going to emplit someone who has medical problems. The hospital sent a letter to the social worker saying I couldn't work for six months. Of course if they keep upping my carvedilol then that wouldn't be surprising, it's already above the highest recommended level, I've never had it so high in ten years.I think there are benefits to the company to employ people with medical problems and there are laws against discrimination because of medical problems so it's still worth trying to work when you can.Regards, To: BB-Pals ; BeingSick ; cardmaking@...; FIBRO_FROG ; HomeHeartstrings ; lds_disabledmembers@...
