Hi Gordon...I had the tumor and my adrenal reoved on July 19. I am still recuperating, but I am so glad I had this done. I am 60 today and was afraid I wouldn't bounce back very quick. I have had high blood pressure for 10 years. I was just given more and more medicaton. The medication had lots of bad side affects. I had fatigue, my face broke out, I had mucle aches. I was in and out of the emergency rooms so many times, my potassium was way low When my adrenals were tested they found the tumor on my left adrenal. 2 weeks later I had the operation. My blood pressure now is perfect. I am on 2 medications now. Next month if all goes well with my new blood tests, my doctor believes I will be off all. I am quite sore and still in recovery, but I know I am glad I did it. So is my doctor. If you have any questions, please ask me. I'd be glad to help you. Let me know what you decide to do

Greetings There has been a recent posting about surgery and if it is in the cards for all of us.I include me in this as well, so why did you or what made you to have this procedure done?I gather from your post that your post op is a challenge, but it is something that can be managed.I also have had recent health issues and if the culprit is the tumor then maybe it is time for it to go, I'm almost 50 and my bounce back ability is getting to be a wee bit of a challenge.Best wishesGordon
