Guest guest
Hello! The board is pretty quiet. Where are all the December 31st starters? This is week 7 and I hope you haven't given up because of lack of results, we must press on to the end. A self promise is a self promise. So for those who have thrown in the towel, I suggest you go back and get the towel out and finish the challenge! :-)Only a few more weeks! Guest guest
I'm still here! Finishing up week 7 and feeling great. I am SO excited by the progress I've made in 7 weeks. I did intervals on the treadmill today and nearly coughed up a lung. : ) --- tresseya <no_reply > wrote: > Hello! The board is pretty quiet. Where are all the > December 31st > starters? Guest guest
I'm just starting Week 2, and it's going well! I am really excited about this program! I have had the book for years and have read it a couple of times, but I don't know why I never attempted the program. Well, now I am, and I am down 3.5 pounds, doing better than I thought with the food, and enjoying the workouts, even the cardio. Does everyone stick to the " 20-minute cardio solution " ? I have been so far, running on my treadmill. I was considering going 30 minutes, but maybe I think I'll put that on the back burner and continue the blasts and trying to improve on mph and raise my incline a little each week instead. The conditions outside are improving, and I live right by a park that typically takes me 20 minutes to run around. It's got hills, which certainly challenge me! Guest guest
> Hello! The board is pretty quiet. Where are all the December 31st > starters? i'm still here, though i started the week after. i had one week where i was sick and basically had me a carbfest. i have lost no weight whatsoever (and i have a lot to lose), but i'm trying to focus on the fact that i have at least made exercise a consistent habit. just wish some of the fat would come off so that my muscles would be visible without a microscope! one thing i noticed : i was losing a tiny bit of weight until i picked up the book " eating for life " . i'm not sure how i did it, but i ended up putting on weight after following some of the shake and breakfast recipes. i eat oatmeal and protein powder every day for breakfast; maybe i need a new favorite breakfast? anyway, all's this to say that i am here, though i lurk, and i am trying to look at this process more as a way to start healthier habits over a lifetime. eventually, i hope this also means weight loss and muscle gain, but i'm going for consistency in the long run. best, ~sher http://www.wrekehavoc.com
