Guest guest
Hi ! Thanks for the news on antiperspirant! That's good news about the aluminum! Alas, many deodorants also contain parabens, which are thought to contribute to cancer. Ug! If it isn't one thing it's another, huh! I use Tom's of Maine and other brands just to be on the safe side, though they aren't as effective as the aluminum and paraben counterparts.Nalgene is the brand name of plastic used in hiking and workout bottles, the trendy transparent colored water bottles. Starbucks also sells them with their logo on it. Am watching T-Tapp's Basic Plus. This reminds me of Debbie Sieber's standing exercises only without music. I like and she of course looks fabulous! I'm anxiously waiting to hear about the success stories at the end of the tape. I think this is a 15 minute workout and would be a good warmup for a day of mish moshed sections. , I have a feeling you'd like this one Stuparyk wrote: I haven't even heard of Nalgene. Maybe Carolyn knows.... I did just finish reading (in two places - a book, and the globeandmail.com) that anti-perspirants have been cleared of any tie to Alzheimer's. I did a 10 minute warm-up walk on the tmill, and then Jari Love's Get Ripped, minus most of the leg work. Good workout; oh my, but I'd forgotten how LONG you do them for - my triceps were screaming for mercy! Happy Holidays, everyone! in snowy, blowy Ontario, who hasn't had much pop at all since she discovered sparkling, flavoured water. It may have aspartame, but not much else. -----Original Message-----From: exercisevideos [mailto:exercisevideos ]On Behalf Of Pink PussycatYeah, the sodium content in diet cola is often high. If you turn the can around and look at the label and see all the fake chemicals and imagine how it's interacting with the cells in your body... that's what finally turned me off it - that and other things.I just took a whole bag of #7 plastic Nalgene water bottles out to recycling, as I read in numerous places it leaches chemicals that result in feminine and other problems. My friend told me that Nalgene is now banned in Canada. Carolyn and , do you know this to be true? I also no longer use anitperspirant unless I'm on a hot date, travelling, or a job interview, as the aluminum in it is thought to contribute to alzeimers. Ug! Life is complicated! My sister is a nurse and replaced all her plastic tupperware with glass and I want to do the same. Okay, done ranting on the evils of plastic and aluminum (in which much soda is contained)
