I actually think anyone who gets involved with the NAS from the start will come to view autism in this way.Probably moreso since the days when my boys first had a dx. They seem to push the acceptance line more than anything else, viewing parents who want their kids cured as somehow not loving their child.

Dear Vicky (ALL!)

When was diagnosed we lived in the Middle East, but whenI was back home that summer and had written to everyone and anyone about autism I realsied immediately that the NAS were not IT for me. I joined, but I also joined the American Society for Autism and found ARI. We began dietary intervention the WEEK was diagnosed.... So we were biomeding form the begining.

I knew right away that the NAS with their wishy washy statements like no we do not endorse ABA or dietary intervention were just insane, anything positive was what I wanted and they just did not cut the mustard! Sadly I still feel the same today, this is so sad for the UK, which is why Treating Autism has to cahnge all that.

Lotsa Luv caroline
