Guest guest
Hi Margaret, Thank you for your post, it means a lot to me. It may be the glutamine/glutamate doing this, I just don't know anymore. He has been on the glutamine for 2 weeks and was ok all along unless it is a case of the supplement building up in the body, if it does this. I wonder if this is what happens, if they build up in the body over a duration or are they used up as you take them in???? anyone know? He appeared fine this morning, took him to school after 11.00 a.m. with no signs of NCS but waiting to see how he will be this evening. As things were going pretty smoothly with the glutamine after 2 weeks supplementation, we decided that we could move to the next step, which was the TD-GSH. Perhaps I should backtrack, withdraw the glutamine and see what happens. I'd be interested in the talk by Foresight, have you got their website and/or any details of this? Thanks, emily xx > > Dear , > I read your earlier post and was upset to hear your child has been in Status epilepticus. Are you certain that nothing you are doing biomed-wise may be making things worse? I don't know enough to be of any help, I'm sorry. Does supplementing with glutamine raise glutamate levels? - I know high glutamate and low GABA are not good. I hope you get good seizure control very soon. > Margaret > > PS: Foresight are coming to Bury St Edmunds for a day of talks one Saturday later in September. Mrs is billed to be present.
