Guest guest
What does it mean when an adult is not absorbing iron? They are eating good diet and not absorbing the iron, iron supplements don't help. Feeling exhausted and forgetful. Her GP doesn't know what to do about it. Any ideas much appreciated
Guest guest
Hi , Tom (not an adult) was having iron problems too. He tested very low for iron on his blood tests and then even lower once we started chelating. He was reacting to iron supplements and even to Spatone (this is something you could try – you can buy it in Boots, it is iron rich mineral water and is the most bio-available form of iron – lots of studies done apparently. It was recommended to us by Jean). Anyway, back to Tom, now we give him organic lamb’s liver, he eats it at least a couple of times a week. We don’t know if it’s worked yet as we have to wait to re-do blood tests. Just some ideas for you. Guest guest
Re iron, wanted some blood tests when we started but this proved impossible. Is there any way of telling whether your child is anaemic (and I'm not talking about gross anaemia) without a blood test, please? Guest guest
Check our what foods inhibit iron absorbtion ( I do not know them off by heart - sorry!), this person may need some supplements if they have poor absorbtion of vitamins and minerals that in turn do not allow the iron to be absorbed either, hope this makes sense. Google may make work for you of you type in the key words. Lara > > What does it mean when an adult is not absorbing iron?
