Guest guest
Hi ph, and everyone,That was me that posted about my EMR. Here's some more info on it.It does scheduling, billing, and a whole lot more, it is called Billing Precision and almost nobody in Oregon has heard of it. It is in use by most of the high volume docs around the country, and especially on the east coast. There is nothing at all like it. I pay $239/month, and that is the same even if you have multiple docs in your practice, I believe. My LMT's even do their notes on it and we have gone nearly paperless as a result. There is no expensive software to purchase, it is a monthly subscription that you can stop anytime. There is no faster way to do a comprehensive chart note. It is something like $1600.00 as a one time fee which covers all of the setup, the training, and all of the conversion so that they can do your billing for you, if you want them to do your billing. I suggest that you do, because they are awesome at it.They do ALL of my billing. They charge 8% of collections to do your billing for you. Just the collections that THEY collect, they don't charge a % on co-pays and such. They do all of the follow up calls too. And they have increased my collections by about 15%, because they are so persistent about collecting every penny. The only thing we do is the initial call to verify benefits. They will do that too for an addl fee, but we don't mind doing it. We do not have any billing staff now, there is no need for it. They also keep track of billing "rules". A rule is a practice by an insurance company. For example, BCBS might pay only pay for a certain code if a modifier is added. If you try to submit a claim without the modifier, they will flash a message on your screen and let you know how to correct the claim before you send it. Their computer system has collected over 1.5 million of these rules for all of the insurance companies. This saves you from having to wait weeks and weeks to find out that your claim was denied for some bonehead reason. No other company has anything like this. If you want to know more, I can send you an invitation to check out the software. Just call or email me. You need an invitation to check it out.
