Guest guest
Oh and one other thing I wanted to 'fess up about . . . my ab workouts suck. I haven't really been doing abs very often b/c I can't find a workout that works for me. I had surgery on my thoracic vertebrae (upper back) when I was about 14 years old to correct scoliosis. It doesn't affect me much in general life but when it comes to doing crunches/etc I have alot of trouble b/c I that part of my spine was fused together and doesn't bend. In other words, I can't arch or curl my back so when I lay on the ground and try to lift just my shoulders up to crunch, either my entire upper body comes up or just my neck does. I know there are tons of other moves I could do, I just haven't buckled down to do the research yet. And that one where you lay on your back, put your feet in the air and lift your hips off the ground, impossible too. Although I'm not sure if it's related to my back or just my weak abs, but my butt just does not come off the ground whenever I try to do that! I'd love to hear from anyone who has suggestions or has a similar issue! Thanks so much!
