Guest guest
When I last posted I had seen my primary care physician and endo for extreme dizziness that I experience when standing from a squatting position or from bending over. Since I also have a bicuspid aortic valve and enlarged aorta, my primary care guy referred me to my cardiologist. He made a bunch of bp measurements and listened to my heart. The conclusion that he came to is that, since I have as he called it " adrenal disease " he wouldn't be surprised if my adrenals were contributing to the dizziness. He also stated that my valve isn't helping the situation any either. He has put me on a low dose of Toprol and his hope is that it " evens out " the dizziness episodes somewhat. He also said that I may have to learn to live with this. I started my Toprol today so we'll see what happens. It's really frustrating when you can't get a definitive answer when you are experiencing a problem. But, maybe this problem has no definitive answer. Guest guest
Good sounds like he is on top of it. Not sure about the adrenal remark and dizzyness.CE Grim MDHe went through the usual, lie down, sit up, stand up measurements and he said that it dropped a little. Then he did squatting to standing and it dropped alot. The bottom line is that it dropped.> > > When I last posted I had seen my primary care physician and endo for > > extreme dizziness that I experience when standing from a squatting > > position or from bending over.
