Guest guest
, Wow that sounds very intense. Do you now or have you ever worn AFOs? For a long time, I refused to wear AFOS but after falling and breaking my leg in 2 places and having plates and pins put in, I have been wearing AFOs for several years now and I feel very secure and comfortable wearing them but it sure would be great not to have to depend on them. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Guest guest
, No, I have not had to use AFOs. In fact I'm not totally sure what they are. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister that also have CMT, as well as my Father. although two of my brothers and my father are in a chair. They are much older and have progressed. None of us used AFOs (probably a pride issue).
