TO whom do we contact to get “discounted prescription drugs”?

They’re not for me, they’re for a friend.

HAHAHAHA!

I spend a lot of time in time outs before they were called time outs.

Subject: A heads-up

Get this: I'm taking a look at my clinic's web site to see

if anything needs updating and I happen to notice that some

words on my site are

hypertexed, like " healthcare " and " osteoarthritis. " So I

clicked on the hypertext and was taken to a web site that

sold discounted prescription drugs! I immediately called my

web site provider and learned that there is spamming

technology now that will put cookies on your browser that

causes certain words on a site to appear as hypertext, and

when you click on them, you will be taken to one of their

sites that sells products/services related (or maybe not

related) to that word.

So, my web site is fine and hasn't been

altered, just my browser (in this case Firefox) has been

programmed to display certain words as hypertext that links

to another company's site. After I cleared my Firefox's

cache and cookies, my site looked normal again without

illegitimate hypertext. And when I checked my site using

Google Chrome or Internet Explorer, it looked fine. Somehow,

perhaps by visiting a site on the web or downloading some

software, these " smart " little cookies got planted in my

Firefox browser and went to work for their owner, directing

me away from my web site and over to theirs. Incredible!

Has anyone else heard of this? If it becomes a popular scam,

no telling what people will be linking to from your web

site. There certainly should be a law against it!
