Guest guest
I've lost around 12 lbs since October and would like to lose at least 30 more this year and comfortably fit inall juniors brands' size 13's. I can wear some brands already but would like it to be across the board. And you? Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile So what's your New Year's resolution? I know we're not through Christmas yet, but it's not too early to start planning our New Year's resolutions. What's yours?

Guest guest
I don't do resolutions, I do goals. People seem to stop resolutions by the end of March, so this way I can talk myself into sticking with it longer. LOL Anyway, here are mine: --Bench Press 200 pounds by December 31, 2008.--Fit comfortably in my size 6 pants.--Improve my Sit & Reach flexibility score by 5 inches.--Improve cardiovascular endurance. (Not sure by what yet. I'm doing a full fitness assessment on 1/1 and will determine how much then.)--Do all of my exercise videos at least once in 2008.--Complete my Bachelors in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine (This is actually a long term goal to be completed in 2011. The part of it that is for 2008 is to complete my transfer to a college here and complete my Associates by Spring 2009.)--Sell and Maintain 300 gym memberships by December 31, 2008.--Volunteer at Physical Therapy Program.--Pay off my Jeep.--Pay off bank loans.--Find and purchase land. (This is for a future goal of custom building a house.) Tonya L. -www.smellabella.comwww.trainingwithtonya.com So what's your New Year's resolution? Guest guest
Hi , My goals for the new year: declutter my house - I'm signing up for the FLYLADY e-mails after the first of the year (or maybe even after Xmas) I like the sound of the baby step approach of cleaing out junk from your house/life! I actually made a dent yesteray when I went through DD's area and tossed alot of old/used up items (dried up playdough, paint, sticker books, etc.) I managed to get a whole garbage bag out! do something for my dead-end career - but I'm waiting on this until after DD starts kindergarten in the fall. This year I passed up a manager training program b/c I didn't want to be going more crazy than I usually am at work - it comes around in 18 months again so I plan to sign up then - as DD will be in school full time so my telecommuting days should be less frantic. I also need to get my CPPB (certified professional public buyer) credential - to keep my other job options open. If I didn't have the telcommuting option where I work now I'd definately look for something closer to home. Keep up the exercising - I surprisingly don't have any real goals for this area other than to keep consistent. I'm pretty content with how I look and how I feel so I'm good here for now. Eat better - I either undereat or overeat junk alot is due to time but I would like to plan better and just eat a healthier diet overall. Same for DD who is very picky, I " d like to get her trying some new foods. I think that is it~ What about you? Guest guest
Hi Tonya, I'm the same way, I don't do New Year Resolutions, I do New Year Goals. Last year I think the only goal that I was successful at was getting my QA III rating for interpreting but considering I had such a crappy year I will take it! Better than nothing and I got a $5 an hour raise, so that helped a lot. I will post my goals and how I will achieve them on the board January 1, 2008.
