Guest guest
Back at ya Jen!!!We had x-mas at my mom's last night. For some crazy reason, I had NO appetite (verey unlike me). I was down this morning in weight cuz of it (water loss, mostly, I'm sure) for a total of 25 lbs down! WOO-HOO.. (7 lbs away from my original goal weight) Anyway, it's 6:00, the baby and I are up, older boys are still sleeping. I am so excited to see their reaction here in a bit!DarcyOn Dec 24, 2007 5:28 PM, from Michigan < volleyjen0416@...> wrote: MERRY CHRISTMAS! Guest guest
Hi, I wanted to drop a line and let everyone know the broken elbow is getting better. Still awfully sore, but better. Daughter's biopsy shows it to be a bracheal cleft cyst. Not malignant. Thank God. I have not had my scheduled phlebotomy for two weeks now. I am suppose to have them every three weeks. Will not get it next week either due to the fact my scheduled days off are Christmas Day and Sunday. The Blood and Tissue Center only does theraputic phlebotomy Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have been sticking to the iron free diet (for the most part) and my labs are in - - everything is within normal levels with the exception of total saturation which is still high at a 44. Sometimes even though you have iron overload you become anemic due to so much blood loss. Doc thought that might be happening to me since I am so fatigued, but I am not anemic. Iron overload has the same symptoms as being anemic. It's a beautiful day here in Central Texas. Suppose to be in the 60's. Don't know how y'all in the cold states do it. I say anything colder than my age (54) is just too darn cold. LOL. But the cold states don't like our hotter than hot summers. My cousin lives in Fargo, North Dakota. She wants me to come visit her during the summer because I am such a wimp about the cold. I told her I would have to buy a Texas winter wardrobe for her North Dakota summer. My son, daughter and I are going to NYC in March. Wonder what the weather will be like? Any of you in the New York area? How cold is it in March? Hope all of you have a blessed day and a very Merry Christmas.
