Guest guest
Hi Jen! I think using a chair and standing upright for the glute and hamstring section at the end is an excellent modification that will yield results! Not everyone's knees and shoulders are good with doing them on all fours. Cheers!
Guest guest
Jen, I agree with . In fact, I do a lot of standing leg work with my clients. I will say to make sure you are standing up straight when you do it, though. If you lean over, you aren't getting as much from the legs and glutes and risk your low back. But believe me, you will still feel those legs and glutes!!!! In fact, I've been told it is harder. That's because the non-working leg is having to work to balance and hold the body. Guest guest
Tonya, can I add 1/2 lb ankle weights? I make sure I'm standing up straight. My back is bad enough now after stomach surgery to risk hurting it. Jen Tonya - wrote: Jen, I agree with . In fact, I do a lot of standing leg work with my clients. Guest guest
Oh, yeah, you can definitely add weights. I use a resistance loop around both ankles on some exercises (or you can tie a resistance band around your ankles with your feet about shoulder width apart to make your own loop) to make it harder. Guest guest
Good because sometimes I don't feel it as much when I stand up but going on all fours kills my knees and hands!
