Guest guest
Ten years ago when I was doing FDA clinical trials that ultimately resulted in approval for cold laser physical therapy, I had a conversation with the SAIF medical director ( who was also a part time OHSU instructor)about the phenomenal effects I was seeing on soft tissue injuries. He knew all about the technology, but said it was too new to be approved for work comp. Has this changed? Specifically, has anybody had success in getting SAIF to authorize and [pay for cold laser for spinal muscle accepted conditions? The case I'm working on spent 3 months at a good PT and came to me when the claim adjustor recommended a change in treatment R Johansen D.C.
