Dear colleagues,

The OCA has been reviewing all the proposed administrative rules that our being proposed that will apply to the coming Coordinated Care Organizations which will provide a new delivery system of healthcare to Medicaid and Medicare patients and on to all public employees and teachers if the system works.

Attached are the key portions of the proposed rule language and of course the OCA’s focus is to ensure that the written rules do not dilute but rather reimburse the non-discrimination provisionary language in the wonderful health system transformation law the OCA helped get passed last session.

Attached is the draft recommended changes and additions I will submit later this afternoon for the profession representing the OCA as I was appointed to this key advisory committee. Please, please take a moment to review and give me your suggestions, deletions, additions etc., I don’t care if it is a single word give me your best……that means guys and gals like you Dr. Sears and Dr. Ann Goldeen!

This is a very critical time for the profession we must stay diligent as the “devil is truly in the details!â€
