Guest guest
I'd like to honor a colleague who left us last Wednesday. Dr. Gus Schefstrom, D.C. died at home after a brief fight with bone cancer. He will be remembered for his work ethic and the care he took of his family and friends. I will remember him because he is the doc who convinced me to go to Chiropractic College. Thanks Gus, and may your journey be with ease. Christian Mathisen, D.C., CCWFN 3654 S Pacific Hwy Medford, OR 97501 cmathdc@...
Guest guest
I remember Gus for his Atlas Orthoganol work with me. He learned the technique relatively late in his career from a doc in Rogue River, who died at a very young age. Gus convinced me of the efficacy of the technique, through his competent delivery of the subtle adjustment. Nice man. He was always available when I needed him. His wife worked the front desk and was just as personable. Thanks, Christian, for letting us know. Thanks, Gus, for what you gave. Guest guest
Thanks for posting this Christian, I never really knew nor did I ever meet Dr. Schefstrom however, through the years I did call him and you know me yes it was for money! Seriously though I think it was actually our good colleague Dr. Colwell who many years ago first instructed me to call Dr. Schefstrom for PAC funds that he was indeed a quality guy and that Gus would step up he did, every single time I called. I am saddened that he and I never actually met face to face but there is no question in my mind by the comments of his colleagues who did have the privilege of knowing Gus and by his actions he was clearly a quality individual. Dr. Gus Schefstrom will be in the Saboe family prayers tonight, Vern Saboe From: oregondcs [mailto:oregondcs ] On Behalf Of Christian MathisenSent: Tuesday, May 15, 2012 9:22 AMTo: Oregon ChiropractorsSubject: RE: Death of a Colleague I'd like to honor a colleague who left us last Wednesday.
