Guest guest
GEEZ now I hear everyone with the same bladder type stuff... I never had bladder infection in my life.... BUT cycle with the " feel like I gotta go.... nope, few minutes later... again, bloat pressure feeling, over and over.... " then in between good for a while then back to going all day.... correction FEEL like I have to go... real pain becasue u do not want to leave.... let me P first! Then get out in car... feel like again or at least as soon as u get where u r going.... then before u head home again.... YA KNOW I was not sure why I had this annoying thing, but had it on and off since 20's and now 40's so MAYBE IT IS due to this lyme annoying stuff! something else to add to the list.... oh and to the person complaining of hair loss, since I have gotten really run down and sick my hair was coming out in clumps... it is thin now... coming out less now.... as verified by shower drain... no " live animals " in there as described by family if I did not clean it out quick enough!!!! I do think since on vitamins and iron and b12 etc I am losing less, but still mourn for what was lost.... dont mind thinner hair but dont want to be bald YIKES. I also thought the hair loss may have been related to the lumps/swelling on my head that come and go and the tender spots that appear for no reason etc. -----celia /vt
Guest guest
Hi Roman, There is something called the 'neurogenic' bladder. I have not seen anything on this as " common " to CMT however. Nonetheless, perhaps one idea might me for you to try Kegel exercises for men - read the text at this link - it will explain how to do them http://malecare.com/Kegel- exercises_109.htm ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
I do have bladder a problem along with constipation. I found for the bladder problem, cut back on caffeine, train yourself to go only at certain times, and try not to drink liquids after 8pm. I heard about Kegal training, so I tried to train myself. As we get older our muscles don't won't to work right, so we have to (re) train them. Good Luck. Debbie
Guest guest
Thank you. The problem is my bladder lives on its own: it is unpredictable, capricious and does not give you a chance! I don " t drink coffee, I absorb a strict minimum odf liquids but it doesn't care: it vibrates and you have to go! Kegel is for different problems: I do not suffer from incontinence. As all the doctors say: Roman; you are not typical … Roman Le 8 août 06, à 19:51, Debbie a écrit : > I do have bladder a problem along with constipation. Guest guest
I used to have a bladder problem but after I lost weight it went away. My doctor said the extra weight pushes on your bladder. I was going to have surgery to lift my bladder now I don't need it. I am so glad I went to the doctor I went to or I would have been under the knife for no reason. Guest guest
Hey Roman, Like so many other " symptoms " we find our CMT morph's indicating, I believe you must be very careful in isolating their causes. I have had bladder and bowel control problems since I was three; and it was not until adulthood, when all the other causes were eliminated that Dr.'s would finally say, " ...yeah it is probably your CMT... " that causes this. I sympathize with you. This particular lack of control can be disastrous, in the work place as well as socially. The only way I have been able to smooth the edges of this circumstance, is to educate those around me about MD and PN. This usually turns out to be a good thing for everyone. As for me, I would rather do whatever I can with control, and delay the onset of chemical therepy to relieve this dilemma. Take Care! Yours Truly, . Guest guest
I AM A MALE WITH CMT AND MY PROBLEM IS FEELING THE NEED WITHOUT RESULTS. I JUST STAY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR 45 MIN OR SO B4 I EVEN TRY. ALSO FROM ALL THE MEDS I TAKE AND LESS ACTIVE LIFE STYLE I HAD A TERRIBLE, MISERABLE, PAINFUL AND INCOMPLETE B.M.'s. AFTER 5 OR 6 YRS OF THIS AND ALL THE SCRIPS AND OC MEDS I STARTED TAKING A BIG SLUG OF COOKING OIL EVERYDAY AND IT HELPED. I WAS IN THE LAXITIVE SECTION AT WALMART AND SAW MINERAL OIL AND BOUGHT 4 BOTTLES. NOW I DO NOT DREAD THE TIME TO GO AND AM REGULAR AGAIN. IN 2 YEARS I HAVE HAD ONLY ONE SMALL ACCIDENT. I KNOW THIS IS A DELICATE SUBJECT BUT AFTER ALL MY MISERY I AM SURE THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE WITH THE SAME PRIVATE AGONY. Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for your kind words - kindness is already a big help! My case is not that dramatic - I just go mad being waken up 10 times per night (happily I don't get up: I just pee into a kind of pot they use in hospitals and go back to sleep - if I can). I have good nights too so I have hope! Roman
Guest guest
Hi Mike, You're not alone. I've been struggling with the same problem for years. I have to take exlax but it doesn't work. Then, I have to follow the exlax up with an enema. It works a little but the lower abdominal pain and bloating drives me crazy. I've had one BM in the last 2 weeks. I have an appointment with a GI specialist on the 24th so hopefully he has some kind of treatment. Malinda
Guest guest
I apologize for taking over this post...I cannot figure how to post an original question. I am brand new to this. I'm not sure if I'm having a yeast related problem, but I get vaginal imbalance very easily, have what I call " stinky scalp " (meaning I take a shower/wash my hair, all is normal, but by end of teh day my scalp smells dirty), and I used to have cystic acne (but I dont have that at all any more...not since I hit my thirties) Does anyone have any advice for me? This is all very new to me. rambukah_1 <rambukah@...> wrote: Dear Group, Has anybody had Candida in the bladder? regards S Soronen BABY STEPS, LLC www.babystepping.com PO Box 731 Selma, NC 27576 (919) 965-3621 (ph) (919) 965-4177 (fx) --------------------------------- Don't get soaked. Guest guest
> > Dear Group, > Has anybody had Candida in the bladder? ==> Hi S. Yes candida can also overgrow in the bladder as well as any other mucus membranes in the body, i.e. ears, eyes, nose, sinuses, mouth, throat, esophagus, stomach, digestive tract, genitals, etc. ==>To help alleviate symptoms see the Urinary Tract Infection article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women5.php Luv, Bee
