No kidding! Oh, how I would love this series, though. Everything spelled out nicely. Maybe we'll win the lottery. LOL

I stayed up far too late playing the stoopid Wii, so I'm tired. Been for a 25 minute walk on the tmill, and I'll get back for another shorter walk this afternoon. I was supposed to do Cathe's Low Impact Step, but the kids are home, and I was expecting workmen...I've had to change my routine for these guys for over a week now, and I've just about reached the end of my rope. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow, and just for one day. I HATE taking my shower before my workout! :-) (they are going to drywall around the tub, so that bathroom will be out of commission, once they actually show up and get working!)

I have never tried the Wii but my kids love theirs. Maybe one of these days... I hear you on waiting for repairmen showing up. I hate waiting and waiting just for them not to show up.

I live around 40 minutes from Cathe's studio. I would love to take a peek at those guys up close! I am on the fence with these workouts. I would have to first put out all of that money to purchase the workouts and then turn around and buy tons of equipment. I don't have anywhere near the number and variet of weights as those workouts look to need. Like you said, there is always the lottery!

I've heard the Wii can be a really good workout. Have you been finding it is?

I have never been to her studio. I have just never gotten around to it. I would love it one day though.

I've heard that too, but I think you have to really get into the sports, like tennis and boxing. I've worked up a sweat in the past playing tennis, but it's not really my thing, and the boxing is (to me) kind of lame. But lots of people love it. Thing is, with the Wii, you can't just sit on the couch for the games, or it isn't even a workout for your arm. :-) My kids have figured out how to sit and play, and I wish they hadn't.

I keep hoping they will put out a Dance Dance Revolution type game for the Wii. I've heard that's a really good, fun workout. Haven't tried it myself, though. I do love the way the Wii remote is so versatile - you push, pull, twist etc. A 'normal' controller would be dull in comparison (not that I'm an expert, by any means. We only had an old Sega system before we got the Wii).

, who had no workout at all from playing too much Call to Duty 3, but did end up with a bit of a sore wrist LOL Stoopid games.

I heard that about both the sports you mentioned. One of my WW members is a former competitive tennis player and she found the Wii version really enjoyable. That's funny that your kids figured out how to sit and play!

I've heard Dance Dance Revolution is really fun and another good workout too. We don't have any game systems here, I've avoided them to try and avoid having couch potato kids and wanting them to read and use their imaginations more than playing video games mostly seems to let them but now I find myself wanting a Wii or DDR just for me!! :-)

Sorry about your wrist! LOL too! ;-)
