Hi Gretchen,

Thank you for the cane news - sounds very interesting. May I ask you

(and everyone) a question that has nothing to do with it? Is it a

common trait for CMT's to have bladder problems? I seem to have a

hypersensitive or neurologic as - as they call it - one and it drives

me mad! It may wake me up up to 20 times per night and it often becomes

furious during the day. I have tried all the well known drugs (in

France) but their side effects were disastrous. Any ideas?

I have been using a Liberty Cane now for at least 9 months.I just love it. It

doesn't get stuck in doors, doesn't slip, it is sturdy but at the same time

lightweight, it looks nice, has a " nook " on the handle for car door openers, a

small light, etc. If anyone in the PA area is interested, you can email me or

just go onto the website for more information. I met the inventor at a

Disabilities Expo in Philadelphia in the spring which made the cane extra

special for me also. Great guy, great cane.

so glad you are using the cane and liking it. I have worked trade shows with

and was using the cane when it was still a prototype. Threw all my other

canes away once I found this one. For anyone curious about it, it is the only

cane that I have used in 20 years that I feel safe and secure with.
