It was a sour pickle. I was at the farm stand and they were introducing their new home made pickles from barrels.g

Guest guest
How does salt load increase BP?1. Down throat into stomach. 2. Into blood stream and blood volume increases.3. Mean I interstitial filling pressure increses.4. Venous return to the heart increases.5. Right atrial fllling pressure increases. 6. Heart pumps faster and harder. CO (flow) goes up. 7. BP= flow x resistance to flow. 8. Therefore BP goes up. 9. Higher BP makes kidney excret salt till blood volume returns to normal.10. However if SALT intake stays up BP stays up. Get a copy of Guyton's Medical Physiology for more details. It is written for medical and nursing students so most anyone can understand it. Guest guest
It should have picked one up if an MRI angio was done but no reason to do that. Tiped sad Send form miiPhone ;-)May your pressure be low!CE Grim MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension Dr. Grim please explain how a my 'salt lick' could have tripped me off line like it did? I assume my 'clean' head cat scan was the berry that you mentioned. I just want to help my current Dr. and me see how this could have happened and therefor avoiding a next time.
