Guest guest
Don't worry-no one will laugh at you. When I see heavier people at the gym, I think, " Good for her! Tomorrow at 7am. No one will laugh. I've found that " the morning crowd " is very dedicated to working out, and they are there to work out, not find a date. They'll be very supportive of you. > I really LOVE to run/jog so if anyone has advice for a good schedule > for starting that again after being sedentary I would appreciate it. Walk 5 minutes. Then, try to run 1, walk 5, run 1, walk 5 etc. It won't be long that you'll be able to run the entire time after your warmup! Dana
Guest guest
This is what most gym rats think. There was a guy in the gym on Friday working with a trainer, who had obviously never lifted weights before. The trainer was teaching him all the correct form for a bench press and they were working through it first with very light weights and then adding on. I thought ³God I¹m so glad he¹s learning the right². That¹s how gym rats think. For every person who¹s venturing into a gym for the first time, there are four more sitting on their butts being unhealthy, eating chocolates and potato chips, feeling like crap. Good for you for deciding the change your life. I promise you, this group will be with you every step of the way. We¹re like that. > Don't worry-no one will laugh at you.
