Guest guest
Welcome to you ! Thanks so much for introducing yourself. Yes, unfortunately, most 'frontline' doctors (Internsts, GPs, etc) don't know about CMT. For that matter there are many other 'specialists' in different medical fields who aren't aware of CMT. But, the good news is that there ARE some terrific neurologists who have specialized in CMT and have become the experts. I posted last week about a Continuing Medical Education (CME) course on CMT for doctors to take, that will be available in the Fall sometime. Alot of us, myself included, continue to 'educate' our doctors with CMT information found here at . Meanwhile, you can ask us questions about living with CMT, and hear a wide variety of responses from our growing memembership. is here to be helpful and hopeful. Again, welcome! ~ Gretchen (Founder and Moderator of )
