In SLC, Dr. Lawson is great! She's at the Univ of Utah neurology.

Also, the MDA is wonderful there; contact Rickets - he was very helpful.

I'm not in UT anymore, and I really miss it (especially the weather). Dr.

Lawson and another of the drs there (I don't remember his name right now) are

conducting some studies into CMT. Best to you!

Hi ! Yes, Utah is insanely different from California! Both have

their plusses and minuses, in my opinion.

When my daughter was born, we had a blood sample taken from her

umbilical cord, and sent that off right away to be tested. I was

adopted, so I have no known knowledge if my CMT was passed down, or if

I am first in line. We did the same test with my 4-year old son when

he was born, and luckily his came back negative. My daughter is not

showing any signs yet, but we're looking into all of the latest

research and technologies so that we can get a jump on symptoms.
