Guest guest
, In SLC, Dr. Lawson is great! She's at the Univ of Utah neurology. Also, the MDA is wonderful there; contact Rickets - he was very helpful. I'm not in UT anymore, and I really miss it (especially the weather). Dr. Lawson and another of the drs there (I don't remember his name right now) are conducting some studies into CMT. Best to you! Guest guest
Hi ! Yes, Utah is insanely different from California! Both have their plusses and minuses, in my opinion. When my daughter was born, we had a blood sample taken from her umbilical cord, and sent that off right away to be tested. I was adopted, so I have no known knowledge if my CMT was passed down, or if I am first in line. We did the same test with my 4-year old son when he was born, and luckily his came back negative. My daughter is not showing any signs yet, but we're looking into all of the latest research and technologies so that we can get a jump on symptoms.
