Introduction

Hello. My name is and I live in Madison county Alabama. I was

actually diagnosed in 1998 when I began having problems with my right

foot. (could not walk) I was sent to Birmingham to Dr. Gould to

perform surgery for achilles tendon and plantar facitis (spelling). I

also have problems with my feet going numb and burning,my left hip

hurts often and scolisis (spelling). Just recently my right hand &

wrist have been bothering me. My middle finger goes numb and pain

shoots through my wrist.

Also, I forgot to mention when I was in 2nd grade (now age 33) I had

heel cord lengthing on both legs. My dad and his family also have cmt.

As well as my sister and myself.

I guess I'm looking for answers and maybe a suggestion of where I

should go for information. Every doctor I have mention cmt to says

they've heard of it but that's all they say.

My family doctor recently put me on zoloft for panic attacks. My place

of employment was robbed at gunpoint on 2/15/06. I work as a pharmacy

tech. Sorry so long and chopped up not much of a writer. TIA
