Guest guest
HIT Ssend too fast. we have a Sams Club, that has a frozen kind which is good. Also if you have a chicken store? we have chicken stores that sell mostly chicken and some frozen veges. > Looking for new meal ideas. Guest guest
I used to rely on Louis Rich Carving Board or Hormel Natural Choice, but they're both sodium bombs, not to mention the " nubbins " situation (good word). They started to gross me out. A couple of months ago, on a whim, I bought a package of organic raw chicken tenderloins, put some olive oil and seasoning on them, and stuck them on my Foreman grill. OMG!! That's what chicken is supposed to taste like! I had totally forgotten! It was literally 10 times better than anything pre-cooked. If you grill them yourself, it only takes 5 minutes, and then you have a big container of really delicious cooked chicken to use for the week. > Looking for new meal ideas. Guest guest
No chicken store and I never renewed my membership to BJ Wholesale, I don't have a Sam's close by. Stuck with Stop and Shop, Shaws and Whole Foods and even Whole Foods is a pain in the butt to get to. I wonder if the deli section sells strips like that? I HATE to grocery shop soooo much that I never linger in there long enough to see what else is around that I'd like to eat. ) > Looking for new meal ideas. Guest guest
You can find pre-cooked chicken strips in the deli section next to the lunch meat. No promises about the quality, though. > > > Looking for new meal ideas. Guest guest
yeah, I probably should just make them myself...that way I can do nubbin inspection. I'd rather eat the veggie chicken stuff but they're all breaded. Guess I'm gonna have to spend time in the dreaded supermarket and really look around or just bite the bullet and actually " cook " something. > Looking for new meal ideas.
