I would suggest you call the airline you are flying on.

Has anyone flown lately? My friend was reading me the list of what

could be taken on a flight and food was not on there except for

processed baby food and I think a liquid sugar treatment for

hypoglycemics. I am severely hypoglycemic and was thinking of

traveling soon but I won't be able to if this is the case. Can anyone

verify or deny?

Hi,

They're only freaking out about liquids and gels. I took dried fruits

and stuff on my flight on the twelfth without incident. Definitely

they won't allow anything liquid, though. I saw some poor guy get his

smoothie (which he bought in the terminal) confiscated after some

woman tattled on him. Good times in the US of A.

I have just flown as well. Getting a list from the airlines is a good idea

but basically all liquid and gels as stated. That includes water. But

we took on fruit, cheese, and crackers. But you can't have lipstick,

creams, lotions or interesting enough vitamins and stuff like that. They

allow prescription meds and a small amount of non prescription stuff like

tylenol. Of course it can all change in a day so I would get a list, and

then check again the day before you fly or even the day of.
