Is this blood or urine Aldosterone. If blood it isn't low. Renin is tested in blood. To test for PA need to have both blood aldosterone and renin from same blood sample.

Hyrocortisone Isn't a good med to take unless you really need it. What test have you had to indicate you need to take it?

There aren't any donut lab on most of these blood test from this doc.

BTW licorice can cause severe HTN, low K and low renin AND low aldo.

No this lab did not have anything else on the lab sheet except the info I provided. I will see this doc on Aug 16 so I can ask her if she knows. Aldo and renin were from the same blood. Bernetta

The tumor was not cancer. I only take 40mgs of Cytomel. Most people need to take 75-125mgs to optimal on T3.

Yes the aldo and renin are from the same blood test. The doc had me do a saliva test for adrenals. The HC gives me bioidentical cortisol that my body doesn't have.

I take the HC to replace the cortisol that my adrenals don't make. My blood test were done at Quest.

Can you explain. I have been doing blood test almost every month or more the last 5 yrs. At Quest and at Florida Hospital in Orlando. And they all do the blood test just the same. What is it there are supposed to do different?

Please reread my long story I wrote. In there I told I did many 24 hr. Urine test and for cortisol too. My blood pressure today so far was not to bad it was130/79 P 78. But it goes up and down all day. Do you know of Shand's Hospital in Fl.? I went there to a Endo every month from last Oct. To this April. That too was in my original story.

Your TSH is very low suggesting you are getting too much thyroid. Some times the are ectopic thyroids that are missed at surgery.CE Grim MDI don't have a thyroid why would I ever take none? Yes but I need your numbers for the urine tests and the normal values for that lab. Read our files on how to draw blood properly to get an accurate K. They are not doing it the correct way.Or google pseudohyperkalemia.CE Grim MDCan you explain. And not when renin and aldo or K were mesured or BP was up and down. If not we can forget about the licorice issue.Just trying to get the story line straight. If the DGL tastes like licorice I would assume there is licorice in it. My guess is because it is an OTC product there is not quality control or standards that need to be met. You have to understand to give you the best help we need to know just what was and is going on with you. Since meds and things change outcome of labs need to know what you were taking when tested.

Your symptoms don't seem to match 's disease. Yet you are being treated with Florinef A med that is used to treat 's. When you say aldosterone is low how low is this?
