I would recommend a trial of spiro. Tiped sad Send form miiPhone ;-)May your pressure be low!CE Grim MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension

How many sub-lingual nitro can a patient take during a single day? I am fighting severe vasospasms and now periodic tachycardia issues. The heart Cath revealed a 20% blockage in the LAD. This is the area of vasospasm. My coronary reserve flow started at 1.1 prior to adenosine but then stayed at 1.1 which I was told should have gone over 2.5. Could this still be considered PA? Dana

If u also have any LVH it could be due to early PA. BEST test would be a trial of spiro. What is ur K doing. Nitro usually limited by headaches. How fast does pain go away? What brings it on?Tiped sad Send form miiPhone ;-)May your pressure be low!CE Grim MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertension

My heart CT or heart Cath gave no indication of LVH. On 7/6/10 my potassium was 4.1. In the really bad times it takes about 4 nitro tabs and about 2 hours to resolve. I have the variant type of angina where there is no rhyme or reason to whenSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerrySender: hyperaldosteronism Date: Sun, 25 Jul 2010 10:49:09 -0500To: hyperaldosteronism <hyperaldosteronism >ReplyTo: hyperaldosteronism Subject: Re: Nitro If u also have any LVH it could be due to early PA. Oops got sent before done. There is no rhyme or reason to what sets it off or when. The cardiologist on emergency last night increased my Imdur and put me back on Coreg. So for my heart and blood pressure I am on Imdur, Cozaar, Coreg CR, Norvasc, baby aspirin, and nitro tabs as needed. I go see him next week to do an evaluation of this new drug regimen. When they took me off the coreg to start diltiazem first then switch to norvasc I was having major tachycardia issues. so that is the scoop for now. my gallbladder has been removed and cannot do MRI because of gastric pacemaker. they are doing an esophageal study on the 30th. The nitro definitely helps but it takes a lot to get it under control. I suspect it is worse because my vessels don't vasodialate due to EPithelial dysfunction.DanaSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerrySender: hyperaldosteronism Date: Sun, 25 Jul 2010 15:20:16 -0500To: hyperaldosteronism <hyperaldosteronism >ReplyTo: hyperaldosteronism Subject: Re: Nitro True angina no matter the variant goes away immmediatly with nitro. I still encourage you to get proper Lyme testing from Lyme-literate

physician.  After going through multiple

diagnoses and ineffective treatment for many years, I finally have a diagnosis

and treatment is working.
