Hi Gretchen,

I love the gym - but I also love my job which keeps me constantly on the road.

In the past month I have been gone for three weeks - two weeks in Paris, one

week in the middle east. And then I have some late nights when I am in town for

work as well as catching up with friends, and then there is the gym time table.

So I usually average once a week of aqua to fit my schedule, when I am in town I

go to the class. Then there is the one yoga night a week I like to do - I find

yoga hugely beneficial too for the stretching work and similar to the prio-work

on the nerves for stretching.

And then I still like doing my normal cardio work. And oh yeah the new core

stability routine! So you can see if the day had 30 hours I would be able to

squeeze in more time at the gym!

I will keep you posted on the gym work. Right now I am very intrigued by the

use of the balance pad, which is on the following site: www.physiosupplies.com

<http://www.physiosupplies.com/> under the click " wobble cushion " - my trainer

swore that getting this and just standing on it while even brushing teeth or

cooking would make a large difference to core strength and balance (he used it

with rehab work with the Australian rugby team). So I am looking at getting

this. It is tough though - I did only an abbreviated session to become familiar

with the routine on Sunday (due to a cold) and feel the effects right in my

center!

If only I had a job that was like Madonna's - a requirement to spend 3 hours

minimum a day in the gym to be successful! I too have always been active, and

love my time working out - I just wish I could do everything I like to do. A

focus for this year will be to see how to get a good balance going once my house

is finished renovations and routines become easier to do.

Best wishes,

Donna from London (sunny this morning, sure to rain again this afternoon)
