Guest guest
This week went very well for me, and I feel like I had good workouts and pushed myself harder than I thought I could! Yesterday was upper body with Maya in the early a.m. and it was decent. Of course, the first 15-20 min included a bunch of lunges and lunge-squat combos, but at this point I sort of expected as much. I wanted to yell " I said UPPER body, Maya! " lol. It was kind of hard to decided what weights to pick for this one, since it was twice as long as my previous upper body workout with her, and I didn't have any idea what kind of exercises were coming up. That's one thing that I wish you could change about the program - there's no way to fast forward the workout to know what you're in for. It wasn't a big deal with the 30 min workout since it was short, but I felt more like " I wonder what's next? " with the 60 min workout. I'm not as sore today from the UB work as I was from Monday's workout, but that's okay. I'm still feeling it, and a bit in my abs, too. Maya threw in several minutes of abs at the end. Which was good, as I wasn't interesed in doing her 15 min core workout again this week. Friday shopping went well, too! Of course, since I was able to hit 5 thift stores chances are I was going to find *something*, right? lol The highlights include FOUR s that were on my wishlist, another Tae Bo intro, and a FIRM from BSS3 that I didn't have. Good thing I put a tiny print out of my FIRM collection in my wallet so I could check inventory, heh. The find of the day would probably have to be The Slim in 6 series! This series comes on two discs, but since it was in a single case it was priced at $2.99. Good stuff! I could do a whole month rotation of beachbody now, with different workouts every week! Next week I'm planning a lighter week in anticipation of my FIRM August. I think the two treadmill videos I'm going to do will be challenging, and I think they also include some weight training. I'll post details tomorrow! I have lots of computer work to do this weekend for school, work, and the dog rescue so I should probably get to it! Have a great weekend, everyone! Guest guest
Hi Darcy, Yes, there are tons of thrift stores around now that I'm looking for them! It's funny - I normally don't go to thrift stores on a regular basis, as I never had anything that I was always looking for (until now, lol). But, even though I'm in a small town, I'm also located about an hour from several major cities in all directions. There are goodwills all over the place, and the larger cities usually have more than one. My finds so far have all been north of me. To the south, so far I've only hit one goodwill in Madison (a total bust), but there is another Goodwill, a Savers, and a St s that I'll have to check next time I'm down there. And those are only the ones I know about! And I haven't hit any thift stores in Milwaukee area - yet. lol Sara > > > > > Friday shopping went well, too!
