Penguin Feet - to Winnie

Hi Winnie,

I am not sure what you mean by penguin feet. However, my sister (who also has

CMT1A likely diagnosis like me and we think my mom and grandmother) had what we

called " Churchill feet " when she was little - because they looked like Churchill

swim fins (which I used for body surfing and so did my dad - there were always

pairs around the place).

Anyway, her feet were an odd shape and small. But this has not impaired her

ability to be fit and to go to the gym regularly and to walk and be " normal " .

So do not worry too much if it is just foot shape. The hardest part for us (my

and my sister) has always been to find cute normal shoes, but with patience even

this is possible.

Best wishes,

Donna from London
