morning all,watched this last night to see the footwork so i had a better idea this time around. it would really help if she told you what leg went where at least a few times when repeating these quick dancy paced combos. the warm up was only 5 min. with moves on and off the step and with a few pivots and turns which is what the confusion the first time around was about. if you are going to involve the workout with pivots and mambos and turns then CUE BETTER!!!! its a shame b/c once the routine gets going its really good. the first half was 25 min of stepping. not as hard as i expected but the tempo and just throwing things at you as the combo builds up made it a little tricky. she does repeat a lot so there is time to catch on. not sure how many mini combos made up the final product i just went with the flow. lots of mambos,pivots,turns,and

jumps so it made it interesting and the tempo and jumps made it intense. the second half of 25min hi-lo floor cardio. same as before very dancy lots more turning and pivots changing up the moves slightly to make them fancy and dancy. taught add-on as before throwing changes at you along the way with mini combos to make a final product.no real cool down before jumping into 5 min of stretching(rhythmic or not there should have been a short 2-3 min of marching or something to cool down properly). as i stated this could be a great workout to grow with but janis's cues are drowned out by loud club music(not to mention visual and sound quality not up to par thank goodness this was only $3 at big lots). there were plenty of times she could have cued better or break down moves and combos just a little more. with pivots and turns you want to make sure your class gets it so they don't hurt themselves or get so frustrated they give

up(there was a time or two i was ready LOL). even during the step portion her class of AEROBIC CHAMPIONS(read about them in the credits) couldn't keep up with her craziness.it was mostly the step workout that gets me.even complex floor work i get b/c i am not afraid of tripping over a step. by the way the step is vertical throughout the whole step portion. i got to the credits b/c i was really dying to see who came up with it, guess who janis AND philip gray. that really explains alot b/c philip gray makes pretty complex step videos(his hi-lo i am convinced is impossble LOL) but one thing is philip breaks things down better and cues a whole lot better in the videos i have. i hope after completing this workout i am able to his CIA Step2BFit video. b/c while this workout was tricky it was fun once i got it down. granted i didn't pull off the same gracefulness as janis and the class, i still got the turns and pivots and mambos kickball changes

etc etc for a really great non stop best of both worlds workout. very much worth the $3 for the routine but plz look around for freebies,big lots, or even thrift stores for this workout. amazon and other retailers try to sell this video for $10 and let me tell you production value really sucks. i am convince the sound quality is what makes this workout harder. my tv up full volume and it was still hard to hear her. glad i watched it all the way through last night so i was expecting the turns to be thrown in. glad i bought it and very lucky i didn't pay more then i did for it. a few more times i might be able to pull the routine off without marching to get back in place. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will
